Meet the Team
Greg Banwart
Founder and Director
Greg began this company from a desire to serve and learn from others. After a few experiences that had created some challenges in his life, Greg decided to become an Employment Specialist to help others better their lives.
Greg began Misfit Hero, LLC with the desire to better the lives of everyone he comes in contact with. He had been broken and made it through. His desire was to support those who may also be feeling a little broken to help them reach their goals.
When not at work, you will find Greg being a husband and father. He occasionally enjoys a good sports game as time allows. His ideal relaxing is going to see a college baseball game!
Jim Sieling

Jim's background is one of serving others. Since marrying his beautiful bride, they have connected with people in ministry and service in churches and other independent jobs.
Jim strives to serve others and see them free from their struggles and difficulties. Jim uses his experience and contacts that he has built to assist others in finding employment and success!
Off the clock, Jim will be found spending time with his wife and children as a husband, father, and grandfather. If time allows, you may find Jim watching his favorite football team or taking a much deserved nap!
Diane Osborne
Employment Specialist
My name is Diane Osborne and I have been deaf since birth. I did not learn sign language until I attended college at Gallaudet University in Washington DC. I graduated with a degree in computer math. My husband Jeff and I have two girls, Brooke and Morgan, who are both hearing.
I have been both a coach and a teacher for many years, but now am working as an employment specialist. My goal is to encourage and connect deaf and hard of hearing individuals in the workforce. Specifically, I hope to be able to more effectively blend the communication between deaf and hearing resulting in offers for deaf individuals' opportunities to have better jobs and careers.
As an individual that grew up in a hearing world, I realize how difficult it is for individuals that are challenged to be accepted and understood. My goal is to erase that barrier with as many people as possible by allowing them to find work that allows them to be successful.
Zane Hatch
Employment Specialist
Zane grew up with a real life misfit hero named Uncle John as well as a best friend named Hope who needed care and assistance daily. It wasn’t until he started volunteering at church later in life though that he knew his calling was to serve those who feel like they’ve always been underdogs.
For a decade now, Zane has worked professionally in various capacities. Most recently, he was a Behavior Technician at a highly reputable ABA clinic in Granbury. He has since realized his dream job is helping people enjoy all the transformational benefits that come with having a job and working with other people in the public.
When Zane has free time, he enjoys kayaking and camping but sometimes those good intentions simply turn into a nap. More often he can be found doing “sonny-dos” for his mom or communicating with his two daughters, both of whom have been missionaries in Europe.
Dana Smith
Account Manager
Dana has a BA in Accounting from Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX. She enjoys working with numbers and with people. She has a passion for helping others, especially the disadvantaged. Through her faith in God and her journey with Christ, she has overcome addiction, a life of crime, grief, and much brokenness. She is an active member of her church, where she is on the Outreach Vision Team. She is a single mom of a teenage son who is the love of her life. She is not only the Account Manager at Misfit Hero, but also a bookkeeping and QuickBooks instructor at a nonprofit career trade school, and an Americorps volunteer, working with at risk youth and youth recently released from the Texas Juvenile Justice System. She enjoys studying the Bible, playing piano, reading, and playing with her dogs.
Darem Han
Employment Specialist
My name is Darem Han. I am hard of hearing since birth. I came to America from Korea when I was 6 years old. I have two bachelor degrees in Sociology and Deaf studies from California State University of Northridge. I learned sign language when I was in middle school.
I worked as a job coach for almost 5 years until I found my calling as a Job Placement Specialist. Also, it is my job to break the barriers of oppression for deaf and hard of hearing people and people with disabilities and highlight their strengths and talents. I hope to fight for deaf and hard of hearing individuals and people with disabilities to gain better employment and job opportunities for all individuals I serve.
In my spare time, I like to watch movies and read books. I also like to have coffee with friends and try new restaurants.
